When it came time to sell our home in the Cowichan Valley we interviewed several Realtors. We picked David Wardle, and we are so glad we did. Not only was he able to list our house on both the Victoria and Vancouver Island MLS boards, but he gave us sound advice on how to best price and present our home.

His marketing was second to none, capturing the beauty of the property, and house, by using a professional photographer, rather the doing the pictures himself as many other Realtors tend to do to cut their costs. His brochures were as professional as I’ve ever seen. He even took the time and expense to create a virtual 3D tour that prompted an offer, sight unseen, from someone who lived far away.

His strategy of holding all offers until one week after listing resulted in multiple offers and a bidding war – rewarding us with a sale price that was tens of thousands over our market value asking price.

We would have no reservations recommending David to be someone’s listing agent. And being a professional trainer to over 1,000 Realtors each year, I think that means something.

David did a great job helping us research Victoria and match our wants, needs and budget with neighbourhoods and houses. He helped us find the best house we have ever owned. Happily, we don’t plan to leave it soon, but if we did, David would be our first choice as a realtor.

When we were selling two properties extremely hard to sell, (after trying to sell them with 2 other realtors with no success) David figured out how to make it happen.  He knew how to position properties difficult to sell so they attracted buyers.  He could separate the time wasting inquiries from the ones that held promise. He knew how to take an offer that just wouldn’t work, and turn it into one that worked well. His negotiating skills are outstanding. I have worked with many outstanding realtors as I have bought and sold properties over the years and David has skills I have not seen in any other realtor If I ever need to buy or sell a property, I would feel privileged to work with him again, and I strongly recommend him to anyone entering the hornet’s nest of buying or selling property.
